How to use Form Endpoint Tester
An endpoint test answers a practical question: can this exact form payload reach the configured backend and return a useful response? Test field names, redirects, headers, and failure handling before a campaign or launch depends on it.
Mirror the real form
Use the same POST action and representative names as the deployed form. Include the access key and one clearly marked test value, then inspect the HTTP status and response body for validation or authentication errors.
<form action="https://api.formsfort.com/submit" method="POST">
<input type="hidden" name="access_key"
value="YOUR_ACCESS_KEY" />
<input name="email" value="[email protected]" />
<input name="message" value="Endpoint smoke test" />
</form> Exercise failure paths
Remove a required field, send an invalid email, and try an unexpected value. A reliable endpoint rejects bad data clearly without exposing secrets, while your user-facing form explains what to correct.
// Expected test matrix
valid payload -> 2xx + delivery accepted
missing access key -> 4xx + actionable error
invalid email -> 4xx + field feedback
